VIDEO - Actor Morgan Freeman falls asleep during live interview

Morgan Freeman
The 75-year-old actor was meant to be promoting his new movie ‘Now You See Me’ but his busy schedule has clearly taken its toll after he was spotted dozing off on air during a talk with US television show, FOX affiliate Q13, on Wednesday.

The show hosts Kaci Aitchinson and Bill Wixey were firing questions at the ‘The Olympus Has Fallen’ star and actor, Sir Michael Caine about their current film when Morgan began to catnap on camera, but instead of waking the movie star, they just continued to interview Michael, who was oblivious to the awkward situation.
At one point, Morgan appeared to slump into a deep sleep before shaking himself awake, blinking a few times and attempting to follow the discussion.
In a clip of the sit-down with Seattle's Fox affiliate KCPQ, Freeman appears to fall asleep on camera while video-conferencing in from New York
Speaking after the footage went viral, Morgan jokingly said: “I wasn’t actually sleeping. I’m a beta tester for Google Eyelids. I was merely updating my Facebook page!”
Bill and Kaci were quick to make a joke out of the stars’ brief sleep on air and took to Twitter almost immediately to share the funny news with fans.
Kaci tweeted: “Morgan Freeman just fell asleep to the sound of our soothing voices.”
